Create Custom Fields That Save Data

A few members including myself have had problems when creating a custom user group, then creating custom fields for that user group and it doesn't save the information after you press "update". The below should fix it. Copy the below and replace the word "sample" to the name of the usergroup that you created, and put your database name where it says to do so below, also make sure that your prefix is correct. Mine is phpfox so that's why it says phpfox_sample_user. Run this SQL query: CREATE TABLE `ENTER YOUR DATABASE NAME IN HERE`.`phpfox_sample_user` ( `user_id` int( 10 ) unsigned NOT NULL ,
UNIQUE KEY `user_id` ( `user_id` ) ) ENGINE = MyISAM DEFAULT CHARSET = utf8; CREATE TABLE `ENTER YOUR DATABASE NAME IN HERE`.`phpfox_sample_user_value` ( `user_id` int( 10 ) unsigned NOT NULL ,
UNIQUE KEY `user_id` ( `user_id` ) ) ENGINE = MyISAM DEFAULT CHARSET = utf8;step 2:Go in the ADMINCP ===> USERS ===> USERGROUP MANAGER ===> MANAGE USER GROUPS ===> MANAGE USER SETTINGS ===> CUSTOM

1.Can edit own custom fields: YES2.Can have special custom fields: YESThen in the CUSTOM FIELD DATABASE TABLE NAME put: sample_user Remember that the word "sample" will be replaced with the name of the user group you created.******************************************************************************************Now when you create custom fields and assign them to a particular user group. Their data will be saved in the database and the information will stick on the page.
