  • What is PHPinfo?

PHPinfo is a function that displays information, in HTML form, about the PHP environment on your server. This Includes information about extensions, modules, etc.

It also includes some information of the server such as the version of the Operative System, routes, configuration values, HTTP headers, among others.

  • Why use it?

Since each system is configured differently, PHPinfo is used to verify the parameters of the configuration, and the predefined variables on a given system.

Also, with PHPinfo, you can get the information about the order of the global variables EGPCS (Environment, GET, POST, Cookie, Server).

In order to use PHPinfo, you must create a file with the .php extension, using the following code inside the file:
