Designing with phpFox v3

When you are working on a theme or style it is best to disable the setting "Site Wide AJAX Browsing". This feature is intended on live communities that are not undergoing any custom work in relation to design and even PHP source code changes. This feature only loads the "header" portion of your site the one time and thereafter only loads a portion of the site based on where you or your user is navigating to. This portion that is being loaded does not include any CSS or JavaScript file since it has already been loaded.

Another tip is to enable a developers constant we work with. This ensures that any CSS or HTML file you are working with will never be cached and you will always see the changes you make right away.

To get this working, create a file on your server called:
dev.sett.php

Place it in the folder:
include/setting/

In that file add the following:
PHP:
<?php
define
('PHPFOX_NO_CSS_CACHE'true);
define('PHPFOX_NO_TEMPLATE_CACHE'true);
?>
