Social Connect is a safe, fast, and easy way to log in by using existing accounts from Facebook, Twitter, Google, Yahoo, LinkedIn and Windows Live. With Social Connect, saving time to sign up and securing password will make your website more friendly, professional, and interactive. Social Connect not only helps you to reduce customer care and password recovery cost but also achieve greater customer satisfaction by eliminating the frustration associated with user forgetting login credentials (usernames and passwords).
Dependency: Social Bridge (https://store.phpfox.com/product/1180/younet-social-bridge) must be installed in prior to install Social Connect.
Key Features
- Allow users to get data from OpenID providers and OAuth2 service such as Facebook, Twitter, Google, Yahoo, LinkedIn, Windows Live.
- To change Logo and Brand of OpenID server; you must setup OpenID server.
- Fields mapping from major platforms to phpfox fields.
- Allow users to associate multiple OpenId accounts.
- Single sign-on: let users login automatically if he / she has logged in one of associated OpenID accounts or associated accounts using OAuth2 protocol.
- Compatible with LinkedIn API OAuth 2.0
- Allow admin to map fields from other platforms to phpfox fields.
- Manage settings to configure size of provider’s icons and position of block that contains provider’s icons on landing page

Front End
- Select provider and log in.
- Auto connects to Contact Importer to show friend list for the first login. Notice that this feature is active if the provider on Social Connect is in provider list of Contact Importer.
Back End
- Manage providers:
- Enable / disable any service
- Display quick sign in (up) on login-or-join widgets
- Set providers in a specific order
- Statistics by providers for total signup and total login.
- Manage settings.

1. Installation Guide
Below are the Installation Steps:
- Install YouNet Social Connect App on the phpFox Store
- Run "Rebuild Core Theme" at AdminCP >> Maintenance
- Clear your cache site (at AdminCP > Maintenance >> Cache Manager)

§2.2. Notices:
If the current phpFox version of the website is [ver 4.1.2] or older, then follow :
- Open file "auth.class.php" follow this patch: "PF.Base/module/user/include/service/auth.class.php "
- Search for the 2nd phrase "if (!$Hash->check($sPassword, $aRow['password']))" from the top
- Replace it with this command: " if (!$bNoPasswordCheck && $bDoPhpfoxLoginCheck && !$Hash->check($sPassword, $aRow['password'])) "
- Save file

If existing users want to link their account to their Facebook, just simply sign-up by the same email to the Facebook account, our system will automatically match them. Certainly, system will ask if you want to connect or not.
You can change its position at AdminCP >> Apps >> Opensocialconnect >> Settings with two respected fields such as Margin Top and Margin Left.
A user can cancel synchronized process but once he does that, he will be unable to use Facebook account in order to log in. Otherwise, he can log in by both normal account and social account.
This is an acknowledged issue from the core of PHPfox V4. Since PHPfox V4 is short of authentication for Social Connect, both Social Connects of core PHPfox and YouNet's cannot show the icons. For specific YouNet Social Connect, to fix this issue, you need to a single line of code in core: - If using PHPfox version 4.1.2 or older: Open file PF.Base/module/user/include/service/auth.class.php Search the 2nd phrase "if (!$Hash->check($sPassword, $aRow['password']))" from the top Replace with text "if (!$bNoPasswordCheck && $bDoPhpfoxLoginCheck && !$Hash->check($sPassword, $aRow['password']))" Save the file Whenever PHPfox fixes that core issue, we will update for our module as well.
Because Facebook API and LinkedIn API don't allow to get some fields as your inquiry so you should input them manually in this case.
